Preparing Production on a Production Line
Starting to print labels on a production line.
Before you begin
- You are assigned to a user group that at least has the permission Manual loading production data and the permission to manage the selected production line.
- You have imported or created master data.
- You have imported the label layouts that you want to use.
- You have created a production line.
- In the production line, you have defined at least one coding scenario.
About this task
One way to start printing labels is that you assign a product or production order to a production line.
Note: You can also start production by creating a coding scenario
and using information from a scanner to start printing labels.
Procedure

In the side bar, click
Production.
The view Production opens.
- In the list, locate the product or production order for which you want to print labels.

Drag and drop the product or production order into an empty production
line.
- Optional: If you are using a label layout with modifiable fields, enter content that should be printed on each field.
Results
What to do next
- Create a new production line.
- Import master data.
- Stop production on a production line.
